Best Abs - Modified Captain's Chair
Works abdominals and shoulder stabilizers, as well as
hip flexors and quads.

Gin demonstrates this modified version of the captain's
chair using 2 padded, sturdy barstools. Using a regular captain's chair
enables you to fully lengthen at the hip, but as discussed in the Best
Abs article review, people tend to swing the legs, using momentum to
perform the exercise.
In this version, your knees are bent as you lift and
stabilize the core to hold steady. This one minute clip progresses
to a "harder" variation and then a "hardest".
Please note that you have to be strong enough in the
shoulders to support your body weight, so this is NOT A BEGINNER EXERCISE.

Best
Ball Exercise - The Prone Tuck and Roll Plus
Works
abs and low back, as well as upper back (lats), and obliques. This
is a fully integrated advanced ball exercise that works additional
stabilizers at the same time.
This stability ball exercise utilizes a step platform
and starts with the standard prone, tuck and roll. Gin demonstrates
2 additional variations - one that also works the upper back muscles,
the other the obliques.
Please note - This is not a "starter" ball
exercise and we recommend a high level of confidence using a stability
ball.
